Manchester Festival - Attendance Guidelines

We’re all about good vibes and great experiences, so here are a few simple rules to keep the festival running smoothly:

• Paws off this year 🐾

While we love our four-legged friends, Made in Manchester Bolton is a family-friendly

event that isn’t suitable for dogs (Unless Guide Dogs). Please leave them safe and comfy at

home.

• Leave the picnic at home 🍔🥤

Outside food, drinks, and alcohol aren’t permitted. We’ve carefully selected an amazing

lineup of vendors, and we promise they’re well worth exploring!

• Stay safe, stay present ✨

Drugs are strictly prohibited. We want everyone to fully enjoy the experience—because

you won’t want to miss a single moment.

• What not to bring 🚫

For everyone’s safety, prohibited items include weapons of any kind, glass containers,

illegal substances, fireworks, flares, and extra-large bags. If in doubt, it’s best to leave it at

home.

• Chill, but not too chill 🪑

You’re welcome to bring small chairs to relax between acts—just remember, this is a

festival, not a full-on picnic setup. Keep it light, keep it fun, and leave the living room at

home!

• One way ticket 🎟

Please note there is no re-entry once you’ve entered the festival, so make sure you’ve got

everything you need before heading in.

• Bar basics 🍻

If you’re lucky enough to look under 25, you may be asked for ID at the bar—so bring it

along to avoid missing out.

• Safe & secure 🔍

For everyone’s safety, security checks and bag searches will be in place on entry. Thanks

Please be respectful to staff, performers, and fellow festival-goers. We’re here to have a

A quick note to confirm that children aged 12 and under can attend Made in Manchester

Festival at a discounted rate this year.

As tempting as it may be to test your youthful glow, this offer is strictly for 12s and under —

not 13, 15, or “close enough on a good day.

”To keep things fair, our team may ask for proof of age on entry. If this can’t be provided or

doesn’t match your ticket type, you may be refused entry or asked to purchase a standard

12+ ticket.

We promise it’s all done with a smile — and only the lightest touch of suspicion.
